The following list is based on the "official" list of all graduating Seniors for 1970 as published in the Savannah Morning News 05/26/1970. As we all remember, there was a lot of confusion in 1970 due to the large number of students who were forced to attend schools based on the district of their home address. Many new students were transferred to SHS from other area high schools in 1970; and, likewise, many students who had faithfully attended SHS in previous years were sent to other schools for their senior year. If you did graduate from 1970, and your name is not on this list, please let us know and we will certainly be happy to add your name. If you attended Savannah High, but were forced to transfer to another school, please let us know and we will add your name to our "Friends of SHS" list. In either case, you will be welcome at all 1970 SHS events!
